Year 5 Camp

kia ora,

At camp my rua favorite things `were the giant swing and the water slide because the giant swing because I went up to level 3 that is the biggest level and the water slide was fun because I went down so fast.

One thing I found challenging was the orienteering because we got most of the answers wrong. so the tutor gave us another sheet.Something I found super fun was the kayaking because I got to jump into the river at the end   of the  lesson.

What I Learnt This Week

Kia ora this wiki I learnt rua things in my akomanga I learnt handwriting in panuitia and I also did splitting numbers in math . In handwriting I did it because it makes my handwriting neater and in math it was a little bit hard but then I got the hang of it.

Something I found challenging was the division in math I just couldn’t get  the hang of it.

Something I would like to learn is more math strategies.

Rugby League

In this blog I am writing about my action station,rugby league.

Things I have enjoyed I have enjoyed different skills and learning how to tackle.

Thing you found challenging I found the passing the ball and the drills.

Thing I would like to improve is my passing skills.

This Week I Learnt

This week I learnt handwriting so I have neat handwriting.

I also learnt different strategies so it is easy in pangarau.

What I found challenging was tuhituhi because I have to do it faster.

What I enjoyed this week is kaupapa matua because I work with my friend.

and what I want to do next week is pangarau because it was cool learning different strategies.

What I Learnt This Week

This week I have learnt reading by going  library it was fun and I also learnt about Celebration in Kuapapa Mautau.

I found Maths very challenging because I couldn’t figure it out,  (subtractions).

Next week I would like to learn more about Reading because it was fun.

My Learning For The Week

This week I have enjoyed writing is in literacy and also I have enjoyed partitioning is in math

I liked writing because I felt like I was so much better than I was last year and. I liked partitioning. It was a little hard  but then I got the hang of it and then it was super fun.

Something that was challenging was reading because it was quite hard and something that I want to do next week is partitioning because it was super fun.

Magic mace

Today we designed a maze. We had to take turns blowing through a straw to get a ball  to the end of the maze. My team done it in 1:47minutes.

Don’t worry we all had our own straws.
